Terms and Conditions

Things I Miss from Home has a policy of honest and open trading.Nothing in this agreement affects your statutory rights.

We reserve the right to change any part of this site. Any orders placed by you, will constitute your acceptance of these terms.

In the unlikely event that a product or brand becomes unavailable or discontinued, we will substitute with the nearest alternative product in size and quantity unless you have specifically asked us not to do this.

Delivery times are based on our couriers and are approximate. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery. If for any reason we can not dispatch your order within 5 working days, we will notify you by e-mail. Once your order has been dispatched, all risk of the goods pass to you.

All payments shall be made in United Kingdom pounds sterling or Euros. The conversion rate is set at the point of sale and no alteration will be made to your payment after it has been processed.

Only PayPal and recognized credit and debit cards are accepted as payment. Online payments are made through PayPal and these are all processed using secure security systems.

Things I Miss from Home can accept no responsibility or cost whatsoever if delivery of any product is delayed as a result of anything out of it's control; i.e. Act Of God, flood, fire, war, industrial action.

The customer is responsible for all import duties and taxes, which may be levied once the package reaches the customer's country of residence. If the customer is unsure of the relevant import duty and tax rates, they should contact their local customs office for further information. Things I Miss from Home cannot be held responsible for the actions of any Customs Departments who choose to open and interfere with any package. VAT is charged on items as appropriate depending on the delivery country, cardholders country and customer VAT status. VAT invoices may be supplied upon request.

An online application to purchase goods from Things I Miss from Home is deemed to be a contract which shall be governed by English law.

Privacy

Things I Miss from Home do collect information about you and your purchases as you shop through our site. We guarantee however, that this information is never sold or exchanged with third parties.
